Privacy Policy
Last updated October 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Romero Kucerkova Law Corp, APC ("Romero Kucerkova Law," "we," "us") handles information collected through CaliAccident.com (the "Site"). CaliAccident is an advertisement of our firm. It is not a lawyer referral service.
Information we collect
- What you type into the case review form: your name, phone number, email, preferred language, and your answers about the accident or vehicle (for example the type of case, date, who was at fault, injuries, treatment, and whether you already have a lawyer).
- Your text-message choice: whether you checked the optional box agreeing to receive text messages.
- Basic technical information: when you visit, our hosting provider automatically processes your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the approximate country your connection comes from, to deliver and protect the Site.
- Form progress on your device: the form saves your answers in your own browser (local storage) so you don't lose them if you leave. This stays on your device and is cleared when you submit. You can also clear it in your browser settings.
How we use it
We use what you submit to review your inquiry, contact you about it by phone, email, or (only if you opted in) text message, check for conflicts of interest, and keep a record of inquiries we receive. We use technical information to keep the Site running, secure, and protected from spam and abuse.
Where your form information goes
When you submit the form, your information is sent through our hosting provider and recorded in a Google Sheet used by Romero Kucerkova Law to manage new inquiries. Your information goes only to our firm. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with any other law firm, lawyer referral service, lead buyer, or marketing company.
Like most websites, we rely on a few service providers that process information on our behalf and only to provide their services to us: Cloudflare (website hosting, security, and form delivery), Google (storage of form submissions in Google Workspace / Google Sheets, and the Google Fonts service that delivers the Site's typeface and receives your IP address and browser information when a page loads), and our phone, email, and text-messaging providers when we contact you. We may also disclose information if required by law or court order, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Text messages (SMS)
We send text messages only if you check the separate text-message consent box on the form. Agreeing to texts is not required to submit the form or to hire us. Messages are about your inquiry; message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. You can also opt out by emailing [email protected]. Phone numbers and text-message opt-in information are never sold or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Cookies and analytics
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics tools. Our host, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary security cookies and gives us aggregate, privacy-friendly traffic statistics (such as page views and visitor counts) that do not identify you.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you, to check conflicts, and to meet our legal and professional obligations, and then delete or securely archive it. If we represent you, your information becomes part of your client file and is kept under our file-retention policy.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may have the right, under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended, to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we use it, and who we disclose it to;
- Ask us to delete or correct your personal information, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep);
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA;
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we use it only to evaluate and respond to your inquiry); and
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email [email protected] or call (310) 925-1993. We will verify your request before acting on it, and you may use an authorized agent.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so please don't send confidential details through the form until we have agreed in writing to represent you.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13. If a minor was injured, a parent or guardian should contact us.
Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
